Contestants gathered in Vercelli's with each table limited to a maximum of six persons. There were six rounds of questionsset by committee members. These included a set on general French culture, a visual round based on UK, French and German logos and buildings, followed by rounds on music and general knowledge. The winning team took charge of the newly-acquired Town Twinning Quiz Trophy, ready to keep it dusted until 2027!

A buffet supper was served at mid point and everyone enjoyed the range of Italian dishes.
