The event took place in Hexham Community Centre on the evening of 17th May. Members of Hexham Village Band played for us before the meeting. The official business of reviewing last year's accounts and our activities took around 35 minutes, with committee members giving a brief description of their responsibilities and progress throughout the year.

As to the future, the trip to Noyon on 24th May was discussed, and the arrival of visitors from Metzingen on 21st June. We are planning other events in Hexham over the latter half of the year.

At the reception afterwards we enjoyed savoury pastries to eat, with red and white wine from Metzingen, specially brought back from Germany by Jan Lambert and David Maxwell.
